Laurel Wright

LaurelCWrightLaurel Wright, after 3 years in high tech sales, an M.B.A., and 10 years experience in investment and private banking at JP Morgan, shifted her focus to giving back to the Manhattan Beach community, specifically through the schools.  Laurel has served for 15 years in a wide range of volunteer positions on the board of the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation, the Robinson, MBMS and MCHS PTAs, and chaired Mira Costa Grad Nite three times.  She is currently part of MBX Foundation as co-chair of the Mira Costa Boys Volleyball Boosters, and works as an independent Marketing Executive for the wellness company, Melaleuca, Inc.

As a fourth year program coordinator for the Mayor’s Youth Council, Laurel is very enthusiastic about the positive impact the program will continue to have over the long term by inspiring young adults and providing them with important connections with a variety of leaders in our community.
